Assist cosmetologists with spa and salon services for the long term care residents. Possible opportunities include calling nursing units to confirm appointments, shampooing hair, painting nails, taking out rollers, hand massages and organizing/sweeping. Volunteering looks great on your resume!
The Salon is open Monday through Friday 9AM- 4PM

Description
Delaware Hospital for the Chronically Ill (DHCI) is the largest nursing home in the State of Delaware. DHCI first opened its doors in 1933 as a statewide Welfare home to replace the county almshouses. DHCI has evolved over time from a welfare home to hospital to what it is today - a long-term care facility licensed as a nursing home providing nursing and medical care at the skilled and intermediate levels. Admission requirements include both a financial and medical need.
