Come out and have a blast volunteering at one of our six dining clubs located on the Peninsula! Volunteers are needed to help serve vendor prepared noontime meals to senior citizens in a group dining setting. Volunteers also needed to help with conducting group activities at the dining clubs, i.e. bingo, singing, quilting, etc. Dining clubs are located in the Cities of Newport News, Hampton, Poquoson, Williamsburg, and the counties of York and James City. Orientation and training are provided and volunteer hours are tracked for school and community credit. Individuals with special talents such as singing, painting, teaching exercise classes, and other crafts are encouraged to apply. Our dining clubs operate from 10 am to 2 pm. Volunteer and and make some wonderful new friends who have amazing stories to share.
