Are you an experienced musician who would like to share your talent with others? The Kaiser Permanente San Jose Volunteer Department is looking for volunteers to play soft music on the hospital floors for our patients, visitors and staff to enjoy. Your talents will help provide a welcoming, soothing, and healing atmosphere. We offer flexible 60 minute schedules. The Volunteer Services Mission Statement is to provide customer-focused programs, services, and amenities, and to contribute to the health and well being of the community by making volunteer opportunities available.
Description
Volunteer services are centered towards customer service and hospitality, complimenting the quality of care provided by the staff. Volunteers are asked for a commitment of at least six months volunteering, three to four hours a week. Opportunities are available days, limited evenings, and limited weekends.
