Mission Statement

The Volunteer Services Mission Statement is to provide customer-focused programs, services, and amenities, and to contribute to the health and well being of the community by making volunteer opportunities available.

Description

Volunteer services are centered towards customer service and hospitality, complimenting the quality of care provided by the staff. Volunteers are asked for a commitment of at least six months volunteering, three to four hours a week. Opportunities are available days, limited evenings, and limited weekends.

I used to be that person who didn't trust doctors and had a very difficult time when I needed to see a doctor. Since coming to Kaiser Permanente, I have had such good experiences with all staff, from admin to doctors that I no longer feel the way I did in the past about seeing a doctor. The advice nurses are very kind and helpful too. I have never had a bad experience in the care of Kaiser Permanente. So thankful it is my provider of health care.
