Empower- residents to voice concerns within the long term care setting in which they live by providing information, support and appropriate follow up.
Encourage- by providing support and assistance to resolve problems.
Protect- privacy and confidentiality of residents and those who are involved with the ombudsman services
Advocate- improvements and changes in relevant legislation and policy
Educate- the community about the Long-Term Care Facilities and how they operate.

- Driver's License Needed
- Background Check
- Must be at least 21
- Orientation or Training
- 4-6 hours daytime per week after 30-hr orientation
