Interested in tutoring a student in an SF public school? Interested in assisting a teacher in his/her classroom? Interested in being a mentor?
Then come join us at our Volunteer Information Session. Learn more about the San Francisco Education Fund & become a volunteer.
We only ask for a one-hour a week commitment but that one hour a week will make a huge difference to the child or teacher with who you are working. You may select your school, grade level and subject matter. Every school in the City needs volunteers. We can streamline the process if you elect to volunteer in one of our high-needs schools.
Make a difference in the life of a child today. We guarantee you will!

The San Francisco Education Fund's programming focuses on one goal: improving student success in San Francisco public schools. Because no single effort can yield the results we seek, the Education Fund utilizes a multi-faceted approach focused on teachers, volunteers, students, and strategic partnerships. The Education Fund's ongoing research, policy and public engagement work spans all of our program areas.
The San Francisco Education Fund believes that strong
public schools are critical to San Francisco's viability and that the community must take action to ensure their success. By acting as a bridge between the community and the classroom, the Education Fund increases the availability and impact of resources for students and teachers throughout San Francisco public schools.
Our integrated approach:
We'll work with your schedule.
