CHANGE A LIFE!
BECOME A VOLUNTEER TUTOR
Central Coast Literacy Council and the Lompoc Literacy Program are in need of volunteer tutors to help adults learn to read and write English. Tutors meet one-on-one with an adult learner at the Santa Maria Public Library or Lompoc Library. By volunteering one to two hours per week, you can make a HUGE difference!
- No teaching experience or a second language is required.
- A willingness and patience to help another member of our community build the necessary self-confidence to improve their job skills, study for the GED test, or learn how to help their children with homework.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer tutor, please join us at one of the upcoming required tutor training workshops.
