ATTENTION INDIVIDUALS AND GROUPS IN SOUTHERN NH!
Do you want to get involved with a Random Act of Kindness project this Holiday Season? If so, look no further! The CareGivers of Manchester is conducting a Winter driver for our clients.
WHAT WE DO
The CareGivers has been offering free monthly food delivery and transportation to medical appointments for our clients in the Greater Manchester and Nashua areas for over thirty years. Our clients tend to be socially isolated as they have no social support structure. these seniors and disabled individuals also struggle financially; living at the poverty level. For most of our clients, they must make daily choices between paying for rent and heat or purchasing food, clothing, and prescriptions.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
During this Winter drive, consider donating items such as:
New Blankets
Homemade quilts
New Mittens (men & women -all sizes)
New Winter Hats (men & women -all sizes)
New Slippers (men & women -all sizes)
Crossword Books (especially large print books)
Non-Perishable Food Items (no bulk or glass items please). To give you an idea, items can be:
Nuts
Dried Fruits
Soups
Juice Boxes (6-8oz)
Rice
Pasta
Beans
Oatmeal Packets
Snack Items (packets of crackers, chips, cookies, etc.)
WHEN DO WE NEED THESE ITEMS
Since we have a LOT of moving parts for our clients at the Holiday Season, the sooner you can deliver these items, the better! We will be accepting these donations from September 1, 2023 to December 15, 2023.
WHERE DO WE BRING THE DONATION ITEMS
We are a small organization, so we will not be able to travel to pick up these donations. All items must be brought to our main office. To discuss Holiday donations, please call our main number, 603.622.4948, and ask for Michele.
We thank you in advance for your support!
NOTE: We will not clock hours for court-mandated individuals.
