Help a Foster Child in Your Community

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: ARIZONANS FOR CHILDREN INC

We match each volunteer with a foster child in the community to build a one-on-one relationship. You do not need any special skills in order to help change the lives of these children! There are many children in care who would love to get out of the house and just play sports or check out a local event. Many of these kids live in group homes with 9 other children and just want to the chance to build a one-on-one bond with someone and enjoy some time away from the home.

Mentors spend 8 hours per month with their mentees. This means just a couple of hours each week or slightly longer visits every other week is all it takes to change a life! The mentor relationship will last for at least 1 year, but can continue beyond that. This opportunity is available throughout Maricopa County.

Please reach out for more information on how you can make a difference for a child in care!
