ORGANIZATION: Evergreen Goodwill of the Northwest

The Seattle Goodwill Community and Government Relations Department works to increase mission awareness in the communities we serve. The Community and Government Relations Assistant will provide general administrative support by updating database records, writing content for communication pieces, assisting with events/meetings, and conducting research.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Update and accurately record information into Constituent Relationship database
  • Contact volunteer Goodwill Ambassadors for upcoming events
  • Act as liaison between Goodwill Ambassadors and Sr. Director, Community and Government Relations
  • Research and reserve appropriate venue for events
  • Maintain event calendar
  • Generate reports as needed
  • Research and identify new sectors to collaborate with potential partners
Essential Qualifications and Competencies:
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with or interest in learning constituent relationship management software
  • Ability to type 50 WPM
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and diplomacy skills
  • A demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Internal and external customer service skills are essential for all job functions
Time Commitment:
  • Flexible weekday hours; minimum 3 to 6 month commitment preferred
