Writers needed! Journalism is a foundation of our democracy, and it is cut to the bone. Come join our team, write exciting and important stories and share them in your community. We do not have a single publication, but we help you place your story where it will do the most good.

Essays, opinion pieces, creative writing, interviews, all are welcome. We also write advocacy pieces for individuals who are human rights victims.

Don't be afraid if you have not written much before. We have a supportive group and will help edit your work and help you crystallize your ideas. Bouncing ideas back and forth and working together on pieces makes everything easier.

civ.works is a privacy protected social platform built for meaningful civic action.

The concept of civ.works is to finally provide a societal machine to stand up against something created nearly 50 years ago -and begin the process of empowering citizens again. We are building a platform together -against an incredibly mature and well-funded machine. Your volunteer efforts will be helping us collectively build something powerful and important.
