Position Description:
The Human Resources - Organizational Development & Training (ODT) Department provides job and life skills training to Goodwill employees. The Training & Development Assistant will provide administrative and creative support for the team. Assist ODT staff with clerical and administrative assistance in developing manuals, proofing class materials, and overall support.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Proof and re-format class documents and handouts
- Update, edit, and refresh training PowerPoint presentations
- Support staff with special projects
- Enter data to track training participants
- Other duties assigned as necessary
Reports To: Training & Development Manager, Training & Development Specialist
Essential Qualifications and Competencies:
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to type 50 WPM
- Excellent organizational skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and diplomacy skills
- A demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a team
