Mission Statement

"To help those who want to help themselves"

Description

RSN has been providing peer-to-peer recovery services since 1996 to ex-offenders, low-income families, at-risk-youth, the homelsss, and veterans. We have a state approved basic computer training program and we are on the ETPL training providers list. We provide emotional, motivational and soft skills support and are part of the SF Welfare-to-Work programs. Our success rate is very good and we need volunteers to help us continue serving the less fortunate members of our community.

I have been volunteering with RSN now for over a year. The staff is incredibly dedicated to serving the community and will truly do anything they can to help someone who needs it. Affordable housing is so desperately needed in the city and the work done by RSN is a lifeline for individuals going through the reentry process and who are working towards being productive for their family and the community. The agency offers flexible hours for volunteers and is open to new ideas and creative solutions.

Everyone involved with this organization is dedicated to the saving of lives. They are the most loving and caring people I have ever encountered providing this type of service.
