Are you a people person? Do you like to educate the community at large? Do you like to network? Are you available weekends and evenings? If you have answered yes to these 4 questions then we are a perfect match! The Coalition is looking for outgoing volunteers who enjoy socializing and are comfortable meeting the public and relaying water safety information at the same time. In essence, volunteers will be staffing our drowning prevention display booth at area health and safety fairs and other local events.

To prevent drowning, near-drowning and other water-related incidents in Palm Beach County by educating residents on water safety and basic rescue techniques.
Description
The Drowning Prevention Coalition provides:
- Free swimming lessons to underprivleged and special needs children ages 3-12
- Free, land based water safety presentations to the community at large
- Water safety information at local health and safety fairs via display booth
