The Coalition is in need of energetic volunteers who like to answer and return phone calls. During the summer months we receive 100-200 phone calls a day, the majority requesting information about our free swim program for underprivleged children.

To prevent drowning, near-drowning and other water-related incidents in Palm Beach County by educating residents on water safety and basic rescue techniques.
Description
The Drowning Prevention Coalition provides:
- Free swimming lessons to underprivleged and special needs children ages 3-12
- Free, land based water safety presentations to the community at large
- Water safety information at local health and safety fairs via display booth
