Project: Collect and assemble coloring books and crayons. Decorate and place in envelope for children to enjoy.

Overview: This is a wonderful project for children and youth groups. A coloring book is an excellent preschool development item. MVNA nurses often give an activity kit to families with school age children. A coloring book opens an important creative avenue for young children.

Kit includes:

  • New Coloring Books -1or2 - subject of books can be animals, trucks, cartoon characters, etc.
  • New Crayons (set of 24) - thick if possible
  • Stickers
  • Construction Paper
  • Package in a 9" x 12" envelope (unsealed). Children are encouraged to decorate the outside of the envelope.
