Minnesota Visiting Nurse Agency

The Minnesota Visiting Nurse Agency is a non-profit Home Health and Public Health care provider in the Twin Cities Metro Area. Since 1902, MVNA's staff has served people in need of nursing, therapy and other supportive services. MVNA is licensed by the State of Minnesota, certified by Medicare and accredited nationally by CHAP (Community Health Accreditation Program).

In 2010, MVNA made over 73,000 home visits to more than 15,000 families; 95% of people served live at or below the poverty line.

To enhance our nurses' home visits and respond to our clients' need, we have a project called Club 100 - A Community of Caring. We invite the community to become involved in meeting our clients' non-medical needs by providing new items (baby cribs, clothing and a variety of kits).

We also give flu shots throughout the state of Minnesota, as well as do PCA (personal care attendant) assessments throughout MN.

Mission Statement

The Mission of the Minnesota Visiting Nurse Agency is to provide comprehensive and culturally competent Community Health and related services in collaboration with Public Health and Health Service Providers to ensure a healthy future for Minnesota residents.
