VITAS Healthcare is looking for a Volunteer to help with Administrative projects at our office located in Maryland Heights. Administrative/Office volunteers promote hospice care by helping perform clerical assignments in an office setting. They support patients and families by preparing mailings, computer input, answering the phones and assisting with special projects. These projects include maintaining patient records, filing, as well as making nursing admission and legal packets.
This volunteer office position is estimated to be 3 hours a week. The hours are flexible and completely up to you. Anytime you are able to contribute during the hours 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday is greatly appreciated. Training and ongoing supervision is provided from the Volunteer Manager and Staff. Description
Volunteers are the heart of VITAS Healthcare, providing friendly, non- medical support to hospice patients and their family or offering support services in the office. We are seeking caring and compassionate individuals to volunteers for our patients in their homes or in nursing facilities in the community.
