**Position Title**: Grant Writer, Grant Researcher, Charity grant proposal Operator, Volunteer, after securing funding position will Grow to paid Intern
(Fundraising expert also needed if you are one, don’t be shy to apply.

**Organization**: Standup to **Duration**: [3-6 months min commitment. No worry if you need to leave shortly.

Mission and goals: To positively impact the lives of Domestic violence survivors, Jobless Americans, and end hunger. through empowerment, job search assistance, refferals to shelter and other housing, meal and grocery assistance and Refferal, community collaboration in order to provide transformative opportunities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES.

Calling organizations/grant givers to inquire about grants.

2. Calling donors such as private individuals and foundations regarding funding.

3. Researching correct grant applications to apply, Drafting and submitting grant applications.

Work Experience & Skills (PREFFERED NOT REQUIRED)

1. Completion of relevant college-level course work, such as progress towards a degree in marketing, finance, or a related field.

2. Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

3. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

4. Strong initiative and creativity.





**Compensation**: Stipend/Internship Pay (This is a Volunteer position that can grow to a paid position once you help us secure grants and or funding/fundraising. We currently have zero dollars in our Charity account.]

NO MONEY INVOLVED UNTILL YOU HELP US SECURE A GRANT, then you will be paid a proper wage based off of your experience, education and time spent. Min wage or higher pay to be expected once you secure funding.

**About Us**:
Standup to Our Perpetrators is a compassionate nonprofit dedicated to supporting survivors and communities affected by trauma, with a strong focus on Food security, Education, Employment Assistance. We offer a holistic suite of services including food security, shelter refferal assistance.

**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented individual for the role of Grant Writer Volunteer. This position will start as a volunteer role with the potential to transition into a paid internship, when your hard work converts into grant securing for our charity.. The successful candidate will be instrumental in helping us secure grants that will fund our critical services.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Research grant opportunities from government, foundation, and corporate sources.
- Write compelling grant proposals that align with our mission and service offerings.
- Assist in developing project budgets and financial documentation for proposals.
- Collaborate with our team to understand program needs and objectives.
- Track and report on the status of grant applications.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of our grant application process.

**Qualifications**:

preffered, not required.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong research abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Eagerness to learn about nonprofit fundraising and grant management.
- Commitment to the values and mission of Standup to Our Perpetrators.

**Education**:

- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a relevant undergraduate or graduate program (e.g., English, Communications, Nonprofit Management).

3. Support the homeless population by providing safe housing/shelter.
5. Extend a helping hand to refugees, asylum seekers, and victims of human trafficking, offering aid, integration support, and rehabilitation services.
