Vision Statement: The Associate Board engages our personal and professional communities in the mission of the Red Cross through awareness, education, volunteerism and financial support.
The Associate Board meets monthly to share mission moments, learn about Red Cross priorities, and drive participation and engagement of the Associate Board forward. Meeting cadence is the 3rd Wednesday of every month from 4-5pm.
Associate Board Member Fiscal Year Commitments (July-June):
· Meetings: Attend 75% of monthly meetings (9), including 2 in-person meetings.
· Give/Get: Annual minimum financial contribution of $1,000. Minimum can be met by a combination of personally donated and personally raised funds.
· Volunteerism: Personally spend 10 hours volunteering for any Red Cross related effort (this is in addition to attending meetings).
· Events: Attend at least 2 Red Cross events. Support board-organized events by attending or lending your help in the planning or execution of the event.
· Recruitment: Recommend at least one person to join the Associate Board. We are looking for people in the following industries: bioscience/pharma, tech, healthcare, retail (household goods) and/or CO HQ companies.
· Board Term: Two fiscal years, renewable for three terms.
