Our Friendly Visiting Program matches volunteers with homebound older adults who are suffering from social isolation. One hour per week of just chatting, playing a board game, taking a walk is all we ask. The times and days are flexible based on YOUR schedule. It's hard to describe how much of a difference this one hour per week makes in the life of a homebound older adult.

We also provide coordination of case plans, advocacy and linkages to community resources to assist our clients and to prevent premature institutionalization
Description
Services Now for Adult Persons Volunteer program is two-fold.
1. We help active senior citizens find volunteer opportunities in the community.
2. We recruit any age volunteers to assist homebound and more frail senior citizens in their every day needs. From just having tea and chatting to shoveling snow, all volunteers are so welcome and so appreciated.
