ARCC’s Chief Development & Communications Officer, Stacy Dryer, will assist with the storyboarding and general order/flow of the video. She is hoping to collaborate with a volunteer in the month of April 2024 on this project.
Specific Qualifications & Responsibilities:
- Video editing experience
- Access to video editing software/tools
- Able and willing to spend 20-40 hours in the month of April 2024 on this project
- Ability to combine media from various sources (e.g., photos, video clips, text slides, etc) into a single video story
ARCC serves at-risk youth and families in East/Central San Jose, by offering a variety of support services including individual & family counseling, educational assistance & mentoring, and trauma recovery and support. Our work is very much about providing possibility, hope, transformation, and new beginnings for youth and families who are most in need. We’d love for you to join our team and help support and celebrate our agency’s work by helping us to tell the stories of youth who have changed their lives through ARCC's programs.
If interested, please contact Stacy Dryer, Development Director, at 408-930-2665 or by replying via email to sdryer@alumrockcc.org.

Mission Statement
The mission of Alum Rock Counseling Center (ARCC) is to heal families and inspire youth to reach their full potential.
Description
Since 1974, ARCC’s behavioral health & educational support programs have served as a lifeline for many under-resourced youth (age 0-25) and families in Santa Clara County, with a focus on their founding region of East San Jose. This includes a large number of immigrant families, where caregivers are monolingual Spanish-speakers, making it difficult for them to navigate the educational and healthcare systems and to access needed support. Offering culturally and linguistically sensitive youth & family counseling, educational assistance, life skills training, and trauma recovery & support, ARCC now serves thousands of high-risk youth annually in breaking cycles of trauma, juvenile delinquency, school failure, and sustained poverty. Our agency's overarching goals are to keep high-risk youth safe, in school and drug and violence free.
