The Weinberg Y in Waverly is looking for volunteers to help support The Cash Campaign of Maryland, a free tax preparation service at the Weinberg Y in Waverly! Volunteers are being asked to help with the following:
- Greet clients upon arrival
- Ensure registration forms (intake) are complete
- Copy takes related forms
- There are minimal tax preparation duties required.

Open to all, our programs support three core focus areas of Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility. Operate at hundreds of Y sites and community locations throughout Central Maryland we impact hundreds of thousands of community members. Through grant funded programs and Y Financial Assistance scholarships made possible through generous community donations, thousands of youth who are financially vulnerable and their families are given the same fair chance to thrive in school and in life that each of us needs and deserves.
