Support Rainforest Partnership's mission as a Volunteer Executive Assistant, utilizing your administrative skills to support our CEO and making a real impact on global conservation efforts.

Do you want to make a difference for our planet and get hands-on work experience at an international conservation NGO? Rainforest Partnership (RP) is a non-profit based in Austin, Texas, with team members in the US, Peru, Ecuador, and many other countries around the world. We conserve and restore tropical rainforests by working with communities to develop sustainable livelihoods that empower and respect both people and nature.

RP is currently looking for an Executive Assistant to the CEO (volunteer) with 2-4 years of experience assisting C-Level executives to support and amplify the impact of our CEO. We are looking for individuals who can commit around 20 hours per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide general administrative support to the CEO.
  • Coordinate the CEO's schedule.
  • Conduct research to understand the developing needs of our organization, inform executives, and support a wide range of deliverables, events, presentations and development efforts.
  • Supporting CEOs correspondence and communications internally and externally.
  • Assist team’s understanding of task assignments.
  • Setting team meetings, recording meeting minutes, and ensuring that meetings are actionable
  • Support team’s management of tasks on Monday.com, particularly in relation to CEO’s tasks involving team members.
  • Coordinate CEOs social media profiles (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook)
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proactive in anticipating the needs of the CEO, and others as assigned
  • Self-starting, resourceful and independently problem solving
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented mindset and exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a diverse team environment
  • Excellent research skills, with the ability to efficiently navigate and extract information from various online platforms and databases
  • Dependable, responsive, resourceful and adaptable
  • Bring a positive attitude and always demonstrate humility
  • Knowledge of Spanish language is appreciated but not required
  • While it is not mandatory, applicants in Austin may have the opportunity to occasionally engage in in-person work as needed.
