Rainforest Partnership (RP) is a non-profit based in Austin, Texas, with a diverse team spanning numerous countries worldwide, reflecting our commitment to addressing environmental challenges on a global scale. We conserve and restore tropical rainforests by working with communities to develop sustainable livelihoods that empower and respect both people and nature. RP is currently looking for a Content Creator volunteer to support the creation of outgoing media by our Marketing team to strengthen Rainforest Partnership’s communications and brand reputation. RESPONSIBILITIES Craft and post engaging content across our social media channels. Monitor social media channels for trends and insights to enhance our digital presence. Develop and implement strategies for campaigns across social media. Create content for social media, including posts, carousels, and reels. Repurpose existing content (webinars, photos, stories) for use across social media. Engage with our online community by responding to comments, direct messages, and other interactions. Collaborate with our team on strategic communication initiatives and campaigns. Assist with overall communications strategy. Assist with global campaign planning and execution. Complete tasks laid out in the marketing and communications plans. Analyze the effectiveness of our digital communication efforts. QUALIFICATIONS Familiarity with major social media platforms. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Passion for storytelling and creating engaging content. Able to adapt to the evolving needs of the organization, with fresh, well-timed, and engaging content. Experience creating content, including reels/short-form video. Experience managing social media accounts strongly preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Confident using design software (our team uses Canva, but any design software is acceptable). Comfortable with Excel and Google Sheets. Interest in Marketing, Public Relations, or Communications. Be dependable, responsive, resourceful and adaptable. Bring a positive attitude and always demonstrate humility. Knowledge of Spanish language is appreciated but not required. Rainforest Partnership (RP) is a non-profit based in Austin, Texas, with team members in the US, Peru, Ecuador, Mexico and Europe. We conserve and restore tropical rainforests by working with communities to develop sustainable livelihoods that empower and respect both people and nature. RP is looking for a Scientific English-Spanish Translator Volunteer who shares our dedication to conservation and scientific discovery, and who possesses the language skills to assist in translating various documents related to our research and organizational activities. RESPONSIBILITIES Translate scientific documents, research papers, data fields, and other materials from English to Spanish and vice versa. Collaborate with researchers and team members to ensure accurate translation of technical terminology and concepts. Assist in translating other educational materials, website content, and communication materials for our Spanish-speaking audience, as required. Review and edit translated documents to maintain consistency and clarity of language. Work closely with team members to meet deadlines and prioritize translation tasks as needed. QUALIFICATIONS Fluent in both English and Spanish with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages. Experience in scientific translation, particularly in the fields of biology, ecology, or environmental science, is preferred. Knowledge of specialized scientific terminology and ability to accurately convey complex concepts in both languages. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in terminology and style across translations. Ability to work independently and efficiently, with a commitment to meeting deadlines. Familiarity with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 (Word and Excel) is a plus. Reliable and responsive to team member needs as they arise on a regular basis. Positive attitude and humility. RP is currently looking for an Executive Assistant to the CEO (volunteer) with 2-4 years of experience assisting C-Level executives to support and amplify the impact of our CEO. For this position, you must have previous experience building Webflow websites.
