ORGANIZATION: Recovery Survival Network

We teach a very basic computer literacy program we call it "Introduction Computer" the course literally teaches people with little or NO understanding of a computer how to operate one properly from turning it on, to shutting it down properly. The introduction course lasts 20 hours and we can schedule a class around volunteer's hours of availability.

Each class lasts about 2 hours 2 times a week with the average class size of 5 people at a time. The curriculum & syllabus are very straight forward and well organized.

We provide these services at a couple of locations in SF the Mission District and the Bay View District. This volunteer opportunity is for people who can make and keep their commitment to a schedule that is comfortable for them. We will schedule the classes around the volunteer's availability.

We work with all ethnicity's and sexual preferences. We also work with various target populations from ex-offenders, low-income families, veterans, formerly homeless, at-risk-youth and seniors.
