Nice & Neat
Donation Sorting

Does seeing a messy room make you itch? Do you find everything has to be in just the right place? Help sort the donations we receive, tidy up the shopping space, and provide occasional support for the families using the Center! The families in our program can shop for free and get the clothes, shoes, and essentials needed for daily life, interviews, school, and more.

About Partners In Housing

Location:

Myron Stratton Home, 455 Gold Pass Heights, Colorado Springs, CO 80906, US

Mission Statement

Partners in Housing guides families in housing crisis from insecurity to stability, self-reliance, and prosperity.

Description

Partners in Housing is a Colorado Springs non-profit that provides a year of transitional housing and supportive services to families experiencing or at imminent risk of homelessness. We have 68 housing units that range in size from motel-style apartments to single-family homes. We have both centralized and scattered locations. We provide families in our Family Self-Sufficiency Program one-on-one budget and credit counseling, individualized case management, resource navigation, housing navigation, career readiness sessions, life skills classes, access to two free Donation Centers (includes items such as canned goods, hygiene products, diapers, kitchenware, bedding, clothing, furniture, and mattresses), and on-site childcare. Last year, 90% of the families in our program successfully moved onto safe and stable housing upon graduation.
