Mission Statement

Partners in Housing guides families in housing crisis from insecurity to stability, self-reliance, and prosperity.

Description

Partners in Housing is a Colorado Springs non-profit that provides a year of transitional housing and supportive services to families experiencing or at imminent risk of homelessness. We have 68 housing units that range in size from motel-style apartments to single-family homes. We have both centralized and scattered locations. We provide families in our Family Self-Sufficiency Program one-on-one budget and credit counseling, individualized case management, resource navigation, housing navigation, career readiness sessions, life skills classes, access to two free Donation Centers (includes items such as canned goods, hygiene products, diapers, kitchenware, bedding, clothing, furniture, and mattresses), and on-site childcare. Last year, 90% of the families in our program successfully moved onto safe and stable housing upon graduation.

Most people I know are not interested in volunteering, but I will definitely get them into it because this sounds like a great organization

I was a past partner in the program. If it was'nt for the great support I wouldn't be where I am today. I feel good to volunteer and help woman and families achieve their goals in daily living.
