Each one of our pups gets three walks a day, 7 days a week. Shifts are 7am, 1230pm and 6pm.
Morning shift - Potty walk, Breakfast, 15 min walk per pup.
Lunch shift - 15 minute walk - light cleaning of shelter.
Evening shift - Potty Walk, Dinner, 15 min walk per pup.
We aim for 4 people per shift. When staffed at that level shift is usually 90 minutes.

Mission Statement
The Humane Society at Lakewood Ranch, (HSLWR) located in Lakewood Ranch, FL is a non-profit animal rescue and shelter organization that provides assistance and care for at-risk animals in Manatee and Sarasota counties. HSLWR will help to rescue and save thousands of animals in the coming years and assist their new adopted families/owners in being responsible and caring for them. HSLWR is committed to helping its communities become No Kill, where all adoptable animals find a home.
Description
HSLWR offers a safe environment and shelter for companion animals including medical care, spaying/neutering, vaccinations, micro-chipping, by loving and caring individuals, while with us and until we can adopt them into a new suitable home. Animals will stay with us as long as it takes to find them a new home
