Are you a trainer? Mentor? Coach?
Our volunteer Girl Scout Trainers are key to successful Girl Scout Leaders.
Trainers must be able to comprehend and present Girl Scout related training materials to a diverse audience to prepare them for their volunteer position. Trainers must be able to conven important of adherance of policies and standards so that girl safety is paramount.
We are looking for energetic individual who believes in the Girl Scout Promise and Law and who want to empower the next generation of girls and their troop leaders.
Trainers must complete a Girl Scout Training course, background check and be a member of the Girl Scouts of the USA.
We offer training courses throughout the year and request that our trainers facilitate at least 4 training throughout the year. Course offering range from 1.5- 3 hours in duration. Outdoor training courses require additional hours.

Girl Scouting serves over 7,000 members in Miami Dade and Monroe Counties in troops, groups , series, events, travel, camping and virtual pathways. Volunteers are the strength of the organization.
Volunteer involvement is needed to inspire courage, confidence and character in small groups and programs.
Group facilitators and leaders needed for small groups and troops of girls year round.
