Girl Scouting serves over 20,000 girls in Miami Dade and Monroe Counties in troops, groups , series, events, travel, camping and virtual pathways. Volunteers are the strength of the organization.

Volunteer involvement is needed to inspire courage, confidence and character in programs such as : Decisions for Your Life ( a teen pregnancy prevention initiative), Daily Academic After School Program ( a tuturing, homework assistance and fitness project for migrant children), Challenge and Change, ( leadership and service development project, and Get Real- mentoring project. Short term series need volunteer facilitators. Small groups need advisors and group mentors year round.
