Volunteer your time in honor of Earth Day!
This year's Earth Day Community Volunteer Project will be at Mead Gardens in Winter Park. We are partnering with the Native Plant Society, Mead Gardens and the City of Winter Park to lead a family-friendly, two-part project that will be held on two different days. Volunteers can sign up for one or both days:
On April 23, 2016, volunteers will assist with invasive plant removal.
On May 14, 2016, volunteers will plant native plants in the previously cleared area.
Volunteers must be 4 years of age or older. This is a great project for individuals, groups, families and Scout Troops. Community service hours can be granted upon request. Join us in restoring this beautiful area of Mead Gardens!
Please email Carrie Mohanna ( evip@ocfl.net) to RSVP you or your group's spot. Space is limited!
