AccentCare Hospice of Colorado is seeking volunteers willing to share their time. We see patients in their private homes, senior living or independant living, assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities and memory care facilities. Bringing quality of life to our hospice patients is one of AccentCare's goals and passions.We need your help to be able to do this. If you have time to give, we would love to meet you and talk with you in depth about what it takes to be a volunteer.

Description

Hospice affirms life. Hospice exists to provide aupport and care for persons living with a serious illness so that they may live as fully and comfortably as possible. Hospice is specialized care that provides supportive care directed towards enhancing quality of life. Together with the patient and family, the interdisciplinary caregiving team focuses on the individual's physical symptoms as well as the emotional and spiritual concerns of the patient and family.

Understanding that it is a privilege to accompany patients and families on this unique journey, hospice strives to uphold the patient's personal dignity and to ever sustain hope.
