  • 7 people are interested

MADD focuses efforts on preventing the death, injuries, and devastation from occurring and this is done through education about the consequences of impaired driving. Victim Impact Panels (VIPs) allows victims/survivors an opportunity to heal by sharing their stories of bereavement, injuries, loss with an audience of receptive participants. Victim Impact Panel Facilitators play an important part in helping to reduce future victimizations through presenting effective VIPs which educate participants to the hazards of impaired driving and motivate participants to make responsible decisions about drinking/drugged driving in the future.

MADD has 17 VIPs in the state of Michigan and we are looking for volunteer facilitators in Tuscola, Huron and Saniliac Counties.

Tasks:

  • Assist willing speakers in developing their presentation
  • Maintain accurate paperwork according to MADD and grant guidelines
  • Recruit volunteers to assist with VIP logisticss, including set-up, check-in, and execution of program.
