Thank you so much for showing an interest in volunteering at Mothers Home.
The Sharing Space is a donation center for the Mothers of the home and low income community members. Essential Household items, essental baby items, kids and womens clothes are stored here. As a volunteer you would go through th donation bags.
Over the past two months we have made such an amazing amount of progress in the Sharing Space, largely due to the efforts of Annie Kilbride from Life Simplified Professional Organizer donating her time and services.
We are in continuous need of help maintaining all the hard work that has already been put in by so many. Please consider spending a few hours a week helping to maintain this space.
We are overflowing with generous donation and would love to keep this as the established go to for all new and expected moms in need.

Mother's Home is a residential shelter for pregnant women and their newborns. As a residential shelter, We focus on physical, emotional and developmental needs including positive life skills, parenting, and job preparation. We strive to assist our mothers to reach their goals of independence and self sufficiency.
Description
Mothers' Home provides a safe and loving environment for homeless, pregnant women. This non-profit shelter, located in Darby, PA just outside Philadelphia, provides life skills education and counseling to enable women to rise above the cycle of abuse and poverty that they have known. What makes this home unique is that the women and infants can remain in the home several months after birth while the mother seeks further education.
Volunteers and Donations are always welcome. PLEASE - serious inquires only.
