This is an unpaid work study opportunity.

The Work Study Intern will assist in the logistical planning of the Walk Like MADD event to be held on October 6th, 019 in Lincoln.

Individual duties will include but are not limited to, assisting with tracking and solicitation of in-kind donations, managing volunteers the day of the event, recruiting teams and walkers, assist in development and distribution of materials, and recruiting volunteers. As well as working with and attending Walk Like MADD Committee meetings on a monthly basis. The right candidate will be organized and able to work easily with MADD Staff and volunteers. This is an ideal position for someone studying public relations, marketing, event planning or communications.

The Walk Like MADD event is MADD Nebraska primary fundraising event that works to bring together the community working to remember those we have lost to impaired driving while committing to a future with no more victims.
