ORGANIZATION: American Red Cross - Southern California Region

PLACEMENT PURPOSE
International Services program is to do outreach regarding International Humanitarian law topics and restoring family links. In addition, families are assisted through our Restoring Family Links program.

OPEN TIME DAYS

• Minimum 4 hours per month

* Most hours will be based during regular Monday- Friday 9-5pm

* Occassional weekends

REQUIRED TRAINING

Orientation to the Red Cross

*Born on the Battlefield course
• International Services Self-Study Guide
• International Humanitarian Law online classes
• Restoring Family Links Outreach Guide
• Restoring Family Links online class or Self-Study Guide
*Restoring Family Links Casework Training class

• Community Educator Training (may be waived for experienced public speakers)
