Open Door Learning Center- Lake Street http://mnliteracy.org
Digital literacy skills are more important than ever in today’s world. However, many people have never had the chance to learn even basic computer skills. We’re seeking Computer Literacy volunteer tutors to help bridge the skills gap and train students in vital computer skills they’ll need for a career and for life.
You'll work as Skills Tutor in the computer lab-- helping students get online, access lessons, and tutoring one on one. You won't need to do any lesson prep, everyone is always working on something different, so you'll get to float around between different learners and help as needed.
Shifts needed:
Mondays 8:30am-10am and 5:30pm-6:30pm
Tuesdays 8:30am-10am
Wednesdays 8:30am-10am and 5:30pm-6:30pm
For more information, please contact JennaRose Bondeson at jbondeson@mnliteracy.org or call 612-567-9095.
