Volunteers will plant shade trees to benefit targeted Woodland neighborhoods. Volunteers work in teams of three to plant 4-5 trees. The trees are being planted to increase shade, conserve energy, clean air, and beautify Woodland neighborhoods where there is low tree canopy.

Trees are the legacy that defines the City of Woodland. The trees we plant and maintain today will provide clean air, clean water and psychological well being for future generations.

Woodland Tree Foundation is a volunteer-run non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing and preserving Woodland's legacy of trees.

Since June 2000, we have pursued our mission to plant and care for trees through community involvement, partnerships and education.
