Aging Services helps the PA Senior Environmental Corps and the Evergreen Conservancy to recruit volunteers to monitor water quality in streams two times per month for one to three hours. Senior Environmental Corps volunteers must be 55 years of age or older. Monitoring streams involves physical activity in getting to the streams.

The Center seeks to promote volunteerism -recruiting and referring individuals,-providing training-maintaining a library of resouce material-producing a monthly newsletter-coordinating services for National Volunteer Week and other events.
