Are you interested in education, tours and programs? This assignment, with the Polk County History Center, will give you an opportunity to share your enthusiasm for history and provide an engaging experience for the public. Education Assistants provide tours and facilitate activities and programs for adult and youth groups, including schools, scouts and the general public. In addition to their on-site activities, you will have the opportunity to help develop and implement education materials. This assignment will meet your interest, contribute to education, and could meet schoold service requirements!
Education Assistant schedules depend on their availability. The Center's days/hours of operation are Tues. through Saturday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
