Are you a people person and enjoy the theatre? This assignment may be of interest to you! Polk State Theatre is presenting "The Learned Ladies", a comedy play, and of course, what would a theatre be without an escort? There is a need for friendly, welcoming ushers { 4 per performance - you choose the date(s) you are available } who will greet guests and provide them with a program, help direct them to the box office if they are in need of tickets, help regulate entry into the theatre, direct guests to the theatre and assist with any individuals who need specific seating, adjust doors in correlation to performances, and give assistance when necessary. A background screen is required and is paid for by the college. Some standing will be involved not to exceed 1 1/2 hours, and stairs will be in use. All escorts will receive free admission to performances for main stage productions and free tickets to black box productions other than the one they are working!
