The fourth annual 5k, Run for Art, Run for Kids is on Sunday, October 29th inside of Piedmont Park. It is a "Creatively Charged 5k" which means that we line the race course with professional musicians and fine artists to entertain the runners and the walkers. We need your help!
All music must be acoustic: drummers, stilt walkers, clowns, hula dancers, guitarists, banjo players, jugglers, etc-all are welcome, the more variety, the better!
Our event is branded as a fun run where people want to run or walk because they get to see YOU producing awesome artwork, great music and/or entertainment along the route! It is our wish that you receive valuable exposure and hope that this is as pleasurable of an experience for you as it will be for the race participants.

Mission Statement
Drawchange is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to empowering children from lower socioeconomic situations through the use of art therapy-based programming. Our programs teach coping skills that foster Collaboration, Creation, Dream-building, Empowerment, Imagination, Self-Esteem, and Stress-Relief.

Our vision is to provide the tools neccesary so each child has the ability to fully express themselves.
Art is a vehicle to reach out to students. Engaging them with art enriches their study with all other curriculum subjects. Our strategy is aimed to spark the energy of world peace by igniting the passion of learning in the world’s children.
In using the research based principles of integrating the arts in the general curriculum, we hope to increase self-esteem and thinking skills in children to help them become better world citizens. Wherever there is a need, drawchange wants to be there providing art supplies.
