Enjoy the great outdoors engaging with kids and/or their caregivers at YMCA Camp Colman, Sept 20-21! Volunteers are needed either or both days. Kinship Camp provides a relaxing and fun experience for kids ages 5-18 who are being raised by non-parent relatives. Volunteers help YMCA staff with kids activities that include challenge courses, hikes, and games.
Transportation is available from the Seattle area.

Mission Statement
The King County Kinship Collaboration will create and maintain a regional collaboration that provides comprehensive and coordinated services, advocacy and community education to support Kinship families.
Description
KCKC does what no other agency or program is able to do alone.
Brings together public and private non-profit social service agencies, schools, kinship support group leaders, and caregivers.
Coordinates resources for kinship families, such as Kinship Camp, classes & events.
Works as a collective with statewide partners to identify and define systemic concerns, set policy, and advocate for change.
Provides resources to kinship caregiver support groups throughout the county, and fosters development of new support groups.
