Mission Statement

The King County Kinship Collaboration will create and maintain a regional collaboration that provides comprehensive and coordinated services, advocacy and community education to support Kinship families.

Description

  • KCKC does what no other agency or program is able to do alone.

  • Brings together public and private non-profit social service agencies, schools, kinship support group leaders, and caregivers.

  • Coordinates resources for kinship families, such as Kinship Camp, classes & events.

  • Works as a collective with statewide partners to identify and define systemic concerns, set policy, and advocate for change.

  • Provides resources to kinship caregiver support groups throughout the county, and fosters development of new support groups.
