Love Trees? Love spending time outdoors? The San Diego River Park Foundation's Friends of Santee's river Park planted seedling trees and shrubs as part of a restoration in Mast Park West. Some of the plants are Sycamore Trees, Coast Live Oak and Cleveland Sage. We are currently looking for volunteers to help with watering and tree care at Mast Park West on Friday mornings from 8:30 - 10 am. All tools and supplies will be provided. Please wear close-toed shoes, clothes that can get a little dirty and sun protection.
Volunteers will meet at the gazebo in Mast Park West at approximately 9292 Carlton Hills Blvd. Santee, CA. If you would like to RSVP for this event, please email volunteer@sandiegoriver.org or call 619-297-7380.

The San Diego River Park Foundation is dedicated to fostering stewardship and appreciation of the region’s namesake waterway. In order to protect and enhance the San Diego River as a place for recreation, habitat, and nature discovery, we are dedicated to engaging people to be stewards of the River and working towards the vision of a 52 mile, river-long system of parks, open spaces, and community places.
Description
We organize many different volunteer stewardship activities each month. River Cleanups, native plant gardening, habitat restoration, volunteer leadership, water quality testing, outreach and education, special event committees, technical committees and more.
