An Art Gallery Greeter welcomes patrons to the Art Gallery. They must be familiar with the Library's On View program, current exhibits, and basic library services. An interest in visual arts and interacting with gallery patrons is essential.
Activities
1. Greet patrons that enter the Art Gallery
2. Answer general questions about the exhibit and On View program
Desired Qualities
1. Knowledge and/or interest in the visual arts
2. Works well with the public
3. Background check required
4. Minimum age: 18
Training and Support
Training will be provided.
Time Commitment
6 months, 2 hours/week
