Looking for an opportunity to be involved in sports and youth activation? Special Olympics Washington is looking for volunteers to assist with the Unified Soccer District 3, 4 Tournament on 5/17.
Volunteers are needed for setting up, breaking down, score keeping, games management, and youth enagement . Come and experience the joy surrounding Special Olympics and Unified Sports.
Unified Sports joins people with and without intellectual disabilities on the same team. It was inspired by a simple principle: training together and playing together is a quick path to friendship and understanding.

Description
Special Olympics Washington provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with mental retardation or a closely related developmental disability, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community.
