Do you like books? Would you like to help the Friends of Salinas Public Library in the Friends Corner Bookshop located in the John Steinbeck Library sorting, cleaning, pricing donated books. Media, book and membership sales record keeping (minimal) and keeping area clean? The FOSPL has a place for you!

Description
The Literacy Center at the Salinas Public Library offers literacy services at each of our three library locations, and adults can also meet one-on-one in other public places. We help adults learn to read, learn to use computers for personal reasons and to get a job, and we help adults prepare for the GED. In addition, we have fantastic family literacy programs.
