The Salinas Public Library is dedicated to free and equal access to information, knowledge, independent lifelong learning, cultural enrichment, and the joys of reading for our diverse community.

Description

The Literacy Center at the Salinas Public Library offers literacy services at each of our three library locations, and adults can also meet one-on-one in other public places. We help adults learn to read, learn to use computers for personal reasons and to get a job, and we help adults prepare for the GED. In addition, we have fantastic family literacy programs.

I love books, and I think Libraries perform an essential function in the education of kids.
